  • Vaginal Discharge - often white and clumpy and is often compared to ricotta or cottage cheese. However, discharges that are thin, runny, yellow or clear are not unheard of.
  • White Coating on the Vagina
  • Redness and Swelling of Vulvar Skin - The skin around the vulva can become irritated and may also become dry and flaky.

Male Yeast Infection Pictures

  • Rash in the penis/genital area
  • Blister on the penis
  • Irritation - The head of the penis can become red and irritated
  • Discharge - while not very common, it is known to occur

Oral Yeast Infection Pictures

Symptoms of an oral yeast infection can include:

  • white/yellow cottage-cheese or curd-like covering on the tongue and membranes of the mouth
  • white spots
  • red sore areas
  • sore, cracked areas of skin around the mouth.

Baby / Infant Yeast Infection Photos

The two most common areas where a baby or infant will have a yeast infection are in the mouth or in the diaper area.

Symptoms of an oral yeast infection in babies are:

  • white spots on the tongue and insides of the mouth
  • a cottage-cheese like covering on the tongue and mouth membranes
  • excessive drooling

If the infant has a yeast infection in the diaper area, symptoms include:

  • Red, well defined area
  • Pus filled bumps
  • Red lesions in separate areas, a small distance from the main rash
  • Appears in the creases and folds of skin near diaper area

Some common signs of yeast infection on the skin include:

  • Red rash
  • pimples or bumps that contain fluid
  • scaling on the edges
  • has satellite lesions - small rash near the area of main rash
  • rash goes just beyond where skin overlaps
